When the term 'Mini' is used it refers to the weight rather than the diameter. The ball is the same size as a standard hockey ball but weighs around a 1/3rd less. A standard smooth hockey ball weighs around 162g but a Fury Mini ball weighs around 102g. 

The Kookaburra Fury hockey ball is designed to be used by players up to the age of 8 years of age.
